Your Personalized Immersion into Cacao as a Plant Teacher

Have you been working with Cacao as a plant teacher, or have you received the calling to do so during a ceremony you participated in? Cacao can offer you potent and life-changing experiences for your personal path of embodiment and joyful integration, as well as support you in becoming more adept at guiding groups in sacred space.

Shadi has been journeying deeply with Cacao for over 10 years and has been hosting ceremonies since 2014. They live in Guatemala, deeply connected with the land, with local Mayan elders and their tradition, and grassroots ceremonial Cacao producers. Since 2020, they have received permission to guide Mayan ritual, and have trained over 70 empowered practitioners to work with Cacao in a respectful and sustainable way.

One Spirit offers 1-on-1 Cacao coaching programs for those who feel ready to start facilitating with Cacao as a plant teacher, or already are guiding rituals but wish to up-level their capacity to hold space for powerful emotional and spiritual processing work.

About the Program

Our 5-week 1-on-1 Cacao coaching program is aimed at people who either have completed our Cacao Practitioner Training program or who already have a solid connection with Cacao. Through the coaching program, Shadi supports you personally in finding clarity and solid direction with the Cacao medicine, to help you successfully create and facilitate your Cacao event. Together we build up towards you feeling ready and clear about your Cacao event. You will be supported in the spiritual/energetic, logistical and marketing aspects in the run-up to your event, and together we will assess and create next steps after the event you will create and facilitate during this program.

This program includes 5x 1-on-1 sessions with Shadi, ranging between 60 to 90 minutes each. You may be given soul/homework in between sessions.

Program Buildup

Session 1: introduction to the program. What are your goals, visions and intentions? We will set dates for the other sessions, followed by a personal Mayan astrology reading that will help you take a clear direction for the following weeks of this process.

Session 2: guided deepening of your connection with Cacao. What wants to be created through you with the Cacao medicine? You will be guided on a shamanic journey and from there we will envision the concept of what type of event or ceremony you want to create. Together we elaborate a concept that will be fine-tuned during session 3.

Session 3: pouring your ritual or workshop concept into a structure, and making a timeline for the workshop. Arranging practicalities such as location, setting your price and finding date/time. I will also guide you in promoting and marketing your event.

These first three sessions can be quite close together, with about a week in between each one.

Session 4: After you have had a few weeks to promote your event and registrations have come in, we will help you prepare all aspects of your Cacao event. Like this you can step up powerfully as the inspired creator and empowered guide of your event.

Session 5: AFTER your event finishes, we will assess and review. We'll get clear on how to transform challenges, and you'll be supported in how to move ahead for future event creation.

This program takes place over a period of 5 to 8 weeks… During the program you will be able to ask me questions directly via voice messages on WhatsApp.

About Me

Terra (Shadi Henau)

Shadi grew up in Belgium and has been living in Guatemala, in deep connection with the land, for about 8 years. They traveled nomadically all over Latin America for many years, soaking in deeply the land-based cultures of this planet while reclaiming their own body's wisdom and ways. Shadi spent quite some time in India during which they trained to be a Yoga teacher and Reiki master. They traveled to numerous sacred sites all over Europe and the Americas, in reverence of the ancient knowing they offer, and started hosting ceremonial travels for groups back in 2018.

Shadi identifies as gender fluid, pansexual and ecosexual, and feels most at home in nature. They love expressing themselves through devotional singing, dancing, in service at rituals, and while guiding groups with the ancestral Mayan Cacao medicine, in which they have been initiated by local elders.

Shadi has been studying Mayan cosmology with wisdom keeper Francisco Puac for about 5 years, and has sat in countless Mayan fire rituals at the ceremonial sites of Guatemala, nourishing a deep connection to the land and its wisdom. They have journeyed extensively in Cacao ritual with Cacao shaman Keith Wilson at Lake Atitlan since 2014, and continue to share the powerful Cacao medicine in their own unique way.

Shadi organizes and assists ISTA (International School of Temple Arts) trainings in Guatemala and Belgium.
