The Spiritual Sexual Shamanic Experience

In 2024, The International School of Temple Arts will be hosting its transformative Level 1 Spiritual Sexual Shamanic Experience residential retreat in the Ardennes region of Belgium, surrounded by old-growth oak forests and freshwater springs.

The extended 8-day/7-night ISTA Belgium level 1 will take place at our family-owned, ecological venue located in Southern Belgium from August 7th-14th, 2024.

This private and natural location, combined with a dynamic team of facilitators: KamalaDevi McClure, Blake Zealear & Asis Aviv, it promises to deliver a powerful and life-changing experience for those that are ready to step into their power.

ISTA trainings welcome and celebrate all expressions of humanity. Apart from tools and support for emotional embodiment and empowered living, the level 1 program offers a deep exploration into the healthy expression of the complete gender spectrum. Within this transformational space, we invite and celebrate beings of all sexual orientations, gender identities, cultural backgrounds, and spiritual paths. We work to offer as inclusive a container as possible, for ISTA's body of work to be received powerfully by participants of all walks of life.

Testimonials

"The ceremonial journey happened on three levels: first came the teachings, then we visited sacred sites and participated in the ceremonies, and then, in El Mirador, we guided our own ceremony. It was perfect."           - Dorien, Belgium

"The ceremonial journey happened on three levels: first came the teachings, then we visited sacred sites and participated in the ceremonies, and then, in El Mirador, we guided our own ceremony. It was perfect."            - Dorien, Belgium

"I already have experience with another very old tradition, and I'm always interested in knowing more about the old ways. That's why I joined this trip, and it was very, very beautiful! We really got a wonderful teacher who was so authentic, and who really goes to the root. It was perfect. Thank you very much!

During the first week we had a seminar with Cosmovision theory. It was very interesting. In the second week we started practising and visiting the temples so we could experience in ourselves the teachings and the culture. Then, during the third week when walking in the jungle, it could all settle in."

- Doris, Switzerland

"It was just an amazing time here, and even though it was only three weeks I have the feeling it was more like three months. I got so much information, and I really feel deep inner connections to the whole group. And I think those connections will stay."
- Yolanda, Switzerland
"The group was amazing. It was full of heart energy. All the hotels were beautiful and calm. Really good food! The organization was perfect; Kilian and Shadi really took care of us and made sure everything was fixed. It was so smooth..."
- Dorien, Belgium
"This trip will remain with me for a very long time. It was more than a beautiful experience for the mind and body; above all it was an experience for my soul, that is taking home so much from this journey."      - Barbara, Germany

About Mesoamerica

The south of Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras are full of ancient Maya temples, many still covered by the forest canopy. We offer the unique opportunity of visiting these sacred sites with a local Mayan cosmology teacher, offering deep insight on the structures and their cosmic significance.

The local culture of southern Mexico and Guatemala is steeped in history and has a vibrant way of life you need to experience in order to understand. The Mayan lands are full of lively markets, deeply rooted ancient spiritual traditions, millions of colors and a strong family culture.

Mesoamerica boasts an incredible array of microclimates in a relatively small area. On our journeys, we travel through the different geographical and cultural zones of the area and we embrace its wild natural beauty, visiting many natural places of power and altars.

Mesoamerica has a distinct culture that offers a beautiful, genuine experience to foreign travelers. Although Latin America has suffered many years of colonization, the local traditions remain strong in this area. The local culture has also partially adopted a western life style, and we can discover a significantly different culture in a comfortable way.
